Welcome!
Welcome to my Aging & Neuroscience page!
Here we will explore the science of aging, bringing together the cultural, social, and economic implications of aging with the biological, psychological, and neurological aspects of aging across different populations. I intend to investigate how these factors affect one another, particularly how sociocultural phenomena (such as people’s attitudes and treatment of older people in the area) may affect mental and physical health.
I would particularly like to focus on memory loss, neurodegeneration, how and why neurodegeneration occurs diversely between individuals, and the sociocultural effects of memory loss in that person’s environment and how they, in turn, may affect a person.
